Projects

Seripaja Kalasatama

This project was produced for Seripaja Kalasatama as a commissioned video production. I worked as part of a four-person team and was responsible for cinematography, lighting design, and post-production editing.

The project was completed over a period of approximately two to three weeks. Our team delivered:

  • A full documentary (approximately 15 minutes)
  • A shorter edited version (2–3 minutes)
  • Social media adaptations for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts (1–2 minutes)

My responsibilities included setting up camera equipment, planning lighting setups, capturing high-quality footage, and editing the final material into multiple formats suitable for different platforms.

This project strengthened my skills in teamwork, time management, professional client delivery, and multi-format video editing.

Sirkus – Promotional Advertisement

This was an individual project in which I created a promotional advertisement for a circus event in Helsinki.

I was fully responsible for the planning, filming, and editing of the production. Filming took place over two days during rehearsal sessions, with approximately five hours of footage captured each day. Post-production editing required an additional three to five days.

This project required fast decision-making, dynamic camera work, and creative editing to capture the energy and atmosphere of the performers. Working independently strengthened my ability to manage a full production process from concept to final delivery.

Large project

Large Project: Board Game Design & Production

My largest and most comprehensive project was the design and production of a fully playable board game inspired by the card game Inscryption. The project involved adapting the original concept into a physical, fan-made board game format while introducing original mechanics and design elements.

I independently designed all game cards, including new card concepts and gameplay systems that expand beyond the source material. This required balancing mechanics, testing playability, and refining the overall game experience.

In addition to game design, I was responsible for the full physical production of the game:

  • Designed and printed custom game cards
  • Developed new gameplay systems and mechanics
  • 3D printed custom tokens
  • Constructed maps using thick cardboard materials
  • Used a laser cutter to create wooden boards and meeples
  • Wrote a complete rulebook with gameplay instructions
  • Created an original storybook to support the narrative of the game
  • Designed and assembled custom packaging and a final game box

This project demonstrates my skills in game design, product development, digital fabrication, creative writing, and physical prototyping. It required planning, problem-solving, and the integration of both digital tools and hands-on production techniques.

This project was completed over a period of four to five months, from initial concept development to final production. The following images document key stages of the design process, material experimentation, fabrication, and the completed board game.
